2018 STAFF

 

Leading a new Artistic Team for 2018 will be Acting Artistic Director Ethan Paulini.  Paulini is an alumnus actor who returned last summer as the Director of our 2017 Intern Program.  He brings a wealth of experience as director, performer and associate artist to the Weathervane. The Associate Artistic Director of Out of the Box Theatrics (NYC), Ethan’s experience includes: Guest Director for Arkansas Repertory Theatre’s Education Department, where he designed their SummerTraining Program. Faculty at Harwich Junior Theatre and taught master classes at Arts Center of Coastal Carolina, Ouachita Baptist University and Singers’ Forum. Robert H. Fowler, Loves Jacques Stewart and The Weathervane! Favorite WV roles include Hoke inDriving Miss Daisy,Horse in The Full Monty, Delray in Memphis,and Javert in Les Miserables. Rhonda Picou, Acting Managing Director, returns for her first full season since 1991. She has worked as an Equity stage manager from Off-Broadway to Los Angeles and was a founding board member and board president of the Weathervane Theatre Alumni Association. She developed a capital campaign to purchase the Mt. Washington Grange Hall and was copy editor of Nights of Northern Lights – Forty Seasons of the Weathervane Theatre. Picou is a graduate of Columbia University’s School of the Arts.

 

Colin Keating, Music Director, received both a Bachelor of Music and a Masters of Music in Music Education from the Setnor School of Music at Syracuse University. Director of Choral Music at KeatingHeadWebBaker High School in Baldwinsville, NY, he also directs, music directs and produces the school’s annual musical.  Colin serves on the music staff at the Cicero United Methodist Church where he is the lead singer and director for the Praise and Worship Band. Colin has been honored with multiple nominations for Best Professional Music Director by the NH Theatre Awards and has received the award for Weathervane’s productions of Sweeney Todd and Memphis.

 

During the summer Season the Weathervane employs over 50 actors, technicians, musicians, scenic artists and additional staffers.  Some return year after year while others take their Weathervane experience on the road with regional and national theatre careers.  Additionally, the theatre employs local residents and NH artists in a variety of positions.
