Patchwork Players

The Patchwork company put their own original twist on classic tales and themes designed for the kid in everyone!  On the road and onstage at the Weathervane – exhuberant, energetic and experienced.  They offer hour-long musical shows on the Weathervane Mainstage Friday mornings at 11:00 AM and area venues on Wednesday mornings – bringing live theatre to North Country towns

Here’s the 2019 rundown!

LIFE ON A PLATE: THE STORY OF A PEA
Written and Conceived by Miles Burns and Hannah Morrisse
Original music by Miles Burns and Scottie Hermenau

Life on a Plate is the heroic tale of an underdog, or in this case “the last pea on the plate,” passed over time and time again. Join Pea, Carrot, and all the other inhabitants of the fridge on an egg-i-stential journey to food paradise.

THE ADVENTURES OF TOMMIE SAWYER
Loosely based on The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain
Youth Adaptation by Valarie Speaks and Dale Jones

The  modern children on the playground love to hear Old Tommie’s stories  about being a kid in the olden days. Even more, they love taking on  characters like Aunt Polly, Huck Finn, Becky Thatcher and most  importantly, that mischievous scamp, Young Tommie.

BILLY GOATS GRUFF
By Miles Burns

The classic folktale with a modern twist. A story about cleverness and courageousness, this original musical adaptation is one that cannot be missed.
